Nemea Wine And History
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel. Destination: Nemea, featuring the most celebrated wineries in the country.
We’ll make a short stop at the Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel that was dug out in the late 19th century. Enjoy the spectacular view and snap some pictures.
About 30 minutes later we will be arriving in our destination, the town of Nemea. You can visit the archaeological site and museum before the wine tour begins. We will visit three wineries, starting from the smallest, all the way up to one of the biggest in the country.
Wine experts will explain in detail the entire wine making process, as you stroll around the picturesque countryside.
You will probably be parched by the end of the tour! Time to enjoy a meal with traditional dishes, accompanied, of course, by the famous local wine. You may want to purchase a bottle or two.
After the end of the tour, your driver will drop you off at your hotel, back in Athens.
